Five Friday Favorites 7.13.18

Happy Friday y'all! & wishing you the best of luck on this Friday the 13th! This week for me started off on a bad note but got better by the time Wednesday came. Lets hear it for hump day! Last week was my birthday week and they don't lie when they your body gets worse as you get older. I am still recovering from a awful cold. Sore throat, runny nose & headache. Yay! Not. But now that i'm back into full swing, here are my favorites of the week.

1. Eric Church- Desperate Man

Finnnnnalllyyyyy we are going back to CHURCH! And boy, he didn't disappoint! Eric Church has officially released a new single today. Its so different than the pop country FGL currently on the radio now (which I low key still love). This song has real soul and I dig it so much. It will definitely be on repeat until I see him at Gulf Coast Jam in September and then forever until the end of time.

2. Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom

My dinosaur loving heart has been so full since seeing this movie. First off, Chris Pratt.....ummmm hellllllloooo. *insert heart emojis here* I have been obsessed with dinosaurs since 2nd grade after I convinced my mom to buy an entire book series on every known dinosaur. I thought I was the coolest kid in class during dino week because I brought in all my books like a hella nerd. Anywho.....this movie made me cry...3 times. Twice because of sad parts and once at the end because it was beautiful. I might be the only person on this planet who cried during this movie but i'm not afraid to admit it. Maybe Chris Pratt will hear about my crying fest, feel bad and come comfort me?

3. The Chicago Cubs

Ok. I might be cheating slightly. I love the Chicago Cubs every week. Every day. Every hour. Every second. But for my birthday I was able to tour Wrigley Field and have been on cloud 9 ever since. I learned so much history of how Wrigley became the beautiful place it is today. Such as, the field is in fact named after the chewing gum company and juicy fruit tastes like what a type of banana used to taste like. I fell in love with the history so much that I ordered a book about it.

4. Flowers
This week I saw that Green Door Gourmet had a free sunflower tour. I instantly added it to my calendar. I've never been to a sunflower field before and have always wanted to get some cute photos in one. My wish was granted. I had so much fun with a new friend, Danielle, as we attempted to learn how to pose and photograph around a big group of people.

5. LikeToKnow.It
I was so blessed to have been accepted into the Reward Style program. I can now use the app LikeToKnow. It to share my outfits for y'all! Reward Style is a invite only platform to help monetize my blog and instagram. Meaning i'll make a small commission if you make a purchase with my link which in turn will be supporting my blog.
